What You’ll Do

As a member of the Regional Leadership Team with 16 managers statewide, organized into 4 teams, each Regional Manager is responsible for assigned Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance offices in the Southeast counties of Missouri. You’ll drive strategic initiatives, mentor and develop field staff, ensure operational excellence, and promote our mission throughout the community. Your work will be vital in sustaining our reputation for outstanding service and growth.

This role is structured across four levels—Regional Manager I, II, III, and IV— each designed to build on the last, offering a progressive pathway for growth and development. As responsibilities increase, so does your strategic influence, from foundational support and office management to leading recruitment, sales strategy, and organizational alignment at a regional level. This structure ensures that every stage of your leadership journey is supported, impactful, and aligned with long-term career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and manage operational performance across regional offices.
Supervise, coach, and evaluate field office staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, and onboard top talent.
Develop and deliver training and professional development programs to ensure consistent service excellence.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, support goal setting, and implement strategies for business growth.
Oversee office logistics, including evaluation of new locations and management of office-related expenses.
Represent Missouri Farm Bureau at industry events, community activities, and recruitment initiatives.
Act as a liaison between field operations and executive leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Travel extensively within the region and occasionally out of state.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business administration, marketing, or related field, OR significant relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience (progressively higher levels require additional experience).
Professional designations (e.g., CLU, CPCU, ChFC, CLF) are highly valued.
Prior experience in sales and the insurance industry is highly preferred.

Requirements to Succeed

Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop teams.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse groups—from staff and executives to customers and community stakeholders.
Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze performance data and implement effective solutions.
Comfortable traveling extensively throughout Missouri and occasionally out of state.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must have or obtain State of Missouri insurance licenses in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
