What You’ll Do:

As a Claims Specialist (or Senior Claims Specialist, based on experience), you will play a vital role in our fast-paced Claims Department by handling a high volume of less complex first-party claims. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing “Fast Track” claims - both initial and supplemental - efficiently and accurately.
Reviewing coverage, gathering documentation, and determining liability.
Making timely decisions on covered damages within your authority level.
Maintaining accurate and well-documented claim files.
Issuing loss and expense payments through bulk billing systems.
Managing claims submitted through our Agent One-Shot Claims Program.
Assisting with customer inquiries and supporting the Active Call Directory (ACD) group.
Contributing to storm claim response efforts and helping train new team members.

Requirements to Succeed:

Claims Specialist:

High school diploma or GED.
Strong interest in insurance and claims operations.

Senior Claims Specialist:

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of three years of experience as a Claims Specialist or similar claims handling role.
